People wonder about lack of free will
But deep down we know
The issue is our wealth of it
We are forced to choose again and again
And this insecurity of freedom
Can wear us out
Until we would do anything
To chain ourselves
To a lover
Or an idea
Or a routine
Or a machine
When the only One worth chaining
Ourselves to
Is the Being who forbids us from
Approaching Him in chains
